PHP Developer

As a passionate and innovative print and communications company we are now looking to further expand our technology services department. We are looking for a PHP Developer to help with the build and on-going development of our operational websites, along with involvement in the development of new & exciting web based MIS & workflow systems.
The ideal candidate must be motivated, passionate and above all share in the belief that with technology… anything is possible! This is a great opportunity to be part of a small, but highly motivated, technology team where you can expect to be treated as a real asset, and not just a number on a payroll.
Role:
You will be working within the technology services team responsible for the building and on-going development of our web based MIS & workflow systems. You will work closely with our project managers to deliver high quality code and functionality as well as help develop & support department trainees.
We are looking for someone who can deliver high quality functionality with minimum input from others; someone who is a real authority on PHP coding and has a drive for progression.
Essential Skills:
PHP, XHTML, MYSQL, MSSQL, CSS, Javascript
Knowledge of design applications: Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Fireworks.
Ability to work with minimal direction, yet also able to work in a team environment.
Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
Hands on with ownership personality
Hard work ethos.
A willingness to learn and an interest in keeping up to date with website technology
Preferred Skills:
Flex, Flash
Web servers IIS, Apache
